On the evening of October 4, Russia hit Kharkiv with two Banderol missiles: one person was killed, six injured, and about ten apartment buildings damaged.
On the evening of October 4, Russia struck Kharkiv twice in a row with Banderol missile-drones. According to updated information from Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the strike on the Industrialnyi district killed one person and injured six others. Fires broke out in cars and an administrative building, and around ten apartment buildings were damaged.

Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov first reported a hit on an apartment building in the Industrialnyi district. Terekhov said all emergency services were working and rescue operations continued. The Banderol combines features of a cruise missile and a jet-powered drone, flies low and can maneuver, which makes it harder to intercept. According to Kharkiv prosecutors, it can reach speeds of up to 800 km/h and carry around 300–400 kilograms of explosives. On September 24, three such missiles struck a farm in Kharkiv region, killing six and injuring 14.

NGO Volunteers Support Ukraine keeps helping people touched by the war, in whatever way its resources allow. We send condolences to the family of the person killed and wish the injured a swift recovery.
