Why the bridges

Aviation expert Kostiantyn Kryvolap, a former Antonov engineer, noted that destroying a bridge with a charge of about 50 kilograms is practically impossible. In his assessment, such strikes aim to paralyse traffic and apply psychological pressure rather than to destroy the structures outright.

Volunteers Support Ukraine continues to help people affected by the war in whatever way its available resources allow.
