The drone hit the gas station grounds, sparking a powerful fire that destroyed part of the fueling complex and at least one car. Rescuers said the blast and the fire that followed damaged the metal canopy structure over the fuel pumps.
Retail kiosks, cars and part of the station's equipment burned at the site. Ukrnafta confirmed staff and customers had already evacuated before the impact, so the strike mainly hit property rather than people who were on site at the moment of the attack.
Kyiv's State Emergency Service units fought the blaze as a thick column of smoke rose over the district, visible from nearby residential areas. The injured were reportedly given medical care both at the scene and in hospitals.
