The president said a package of missiles for NASAMS air defence arrived on 28 September, while talks continue on more supplies for Patriot.
Ukraine has received a new package of missiles for its NASAMS air defence systems. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced it on 29 September, saying the shipment arrived the previous day, 28 September. Volunteers Support Ukraine closely follows news that bears on protecting civilians from air strikes.

Zelensky thanked American and Norwegian partners for the NASAMS system and its missiles, and France and Germany for an air-defence support package delivered in recent days, including missiles. He added that Ukraine is at the same time negotiating additional supplies for Patriot systems.

The delivery is a partial answer to a shortage of air-defence missiles as Russian strikes intensify. In the night to 30 September alone Russia used 188 drones plus missiles, and Kyiv has been attacked for several nights in a row.

NGO Volunteers Support Ukraine goes on helping people touched by the war in whatever way its resources allow.
