Ukrainian drones hit Wildberries logistics hubs in Penza and Sarapul, Udmurtia overnight — the eighth and ninth such facilities struck since the campaign began.
Overnight into July 30, Ukrainian drones struck two logistics complexes belonging to Wildberries, Russia's largest online retailer, in Penza and in the city of Sarapul in the Udmurt Republic, roughly 1,200 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Large fires broke out at both sites, according to local officials and eyewitnesses. According to eyewitnesses and monitoring channels, a drone hit Wildberries' sorting center in Penza, a complex covering roughly 90,000 square meters, sending a column of black smoke over the city. At least one person was injured, while around 200 employees had already been evacuated. Udmurtia's regional head, Olga Abramova, confirmed an attack on "one of the enterprises" in Sarapul and said no one was hurt, with the company itself saying it had evacuated staff ahead of the strike. It isn't the first Wildberries facility hit in Udmurtia this summer: Ukrainian forces earlier reported striking the Prioritet fuel depot in the same region. Wildberries remains a convenient target, combining vast warehouse capacity with far weaker defenses than military sites.
