After the railway station strike, drones hit Dnipro again on 29 October: a vocational school dormitory caught fire and more than 350,000 customers lost power.
Dnipro was under attack throughout 29 October. After the strike on the railway station, a russian drone hit the dormitory of one of the city's vocational schools, according to the State Emergency Service (DSNS) and the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration. Volunteers Support Ukraine sums up what is known.

DSNS says the drone attack started a fire in the dormitory. The regional administration said several rooms on an upper floor caught fire. Kyiv Independent reported that the fifth floor burned and that nobody in the building was hurt because the students had reached a shelter. Rescuers worked at the scene with an aerial ladder.

Two girls, aged 15 and 16, suffered an acute stress reaction and received all necessary medical help. Volunteers Support Ukraine notes that the toll of such attacks is not only physical destruction but also psychological shock for young people.

The photos show smashed windows and glass debris around the building.

Late in the evening the regional administration said repeated attacks had left more than 350,000 customers without power in Dnipro and nearby communities. Energy workers laboured through the night and restored supply to some of them. On the morning of 30 October the administration said the enemy had attacked four districts of the region with drones more than 20 times overnight and in the early morning.

For people in Dnipro this was one of the hardest days: the station strike, attacks on residential and educational infrastructure and a mass power cut. Volunteers Support Ukraine continues to help people affected by the war in whatever way its available resources allow.
