On the evening of 1 November, russian strike drones attacked the village of Vasyshcheve in the Bezliudivka community, Kharkiv region. One of the hits landed on the roof of a five-storey residential building.

In the evening, Kharkiv regional governor Oleh Syniehubov reported five injured: an 18-year-old man and women aged 48, 67, 33 and 71. By morning the State Emergency Service said twelve people had been hurt, a child among them. Volunteers Support Ukraine follows such reports closely, as the figures often rise once the picture is clarified.

The hit to the roof damaged apartment structures and the floor slab between storeys. Rescuers saved two residents who were trapped in a top-floor flat. Two private houses were also damaged.

Three more fires broke out at other addresses: greenhouses, hay and a refrigeration unit on the grounds of a private business were burning. Emergency Service units and a local fire team dealt with the aftermath.

NGO Volunteers Support Ukraine continues to help people affected by the war in whatever way its resources allow.
